What we do

We build decks, remodel homes, and do roofing, concrete, window, and door work across the Greater Pittsburgh area.

We also do

  • A covered deck under a shingled roof, with tan composite boards framed by a dark brown border, white posts and top rails, and black metal balusters looking out to a lawn and trees.
  • A finished bathroom with a curved glass corner shower, a toilet, grey walls and dark wood-look plank flooring.
  • A flight of poured concrete steps climbing a slope from a driveway, with a black metal railing on one side and a grey stacked block wall on the other.
  • A long tan block retaining wall curving across a mown lawn, capped with a flat top course, with a street and houses beyond.
  • A ground-level pressure-treated walkway of wide deck boards laid through a planting bed, past a low juniper and yellow daylilies.
  • An empty remodeled room with grey walls, white trim and dark wood-look plank flooring, a ceiling fan overhead and a white staircase through the doorway.
  • A blue-grey vinyl-sided upper storey with white window and corner trim, carried on a post above an open bay in a brick house.
  • A grey composite deck with a black railing built off a brick house, under mature trees.
  • A black metal railing running along the edge of a raised concrete patio beside a red brick house, with cushioned chairs, a folded striped umbrella and low shrubs below.

Meet Anthony

I'm Anthony Checca, owner of Chec’s Custom Solutions. I started working in construction at 15 and built my experience as a carpenter, framer, foreman, and project manager. Along the way, I learned to handle the many parts of a job.

My work includes framing, drywall finishing, painting, cabinetry, concrete, and a wide range of repairs and renovations. I also have experience with electrical and plumbing work. That range helps me understand how one part of your home affects another, spot problems early, and find practical ways to get the job done.

I enjoy doing the work. I'm on site. I work with my hands and pay attention to the details. On many jobs, I'm the person you'll see doing the work from start to finish.

You deserve straight answers throughout your project. I'll explain what I find, talk through your options, keep you updated, and be clear about costs. If something can be repaired properly, I'll tell you that instead of automatically recommending a replacement.

Most of my work comes from referrals and from people who have seen my work nearby. My goal is to do work I'm proud to put my name on. I want you to feel confident about the person you hired.

Common questions

Rated 5.0 on Google and Yelp

7 five-star reviews from homeowners and businesses across Beaver, Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Washington counties.

I've hired Anthony and Checs Custom Solutions for several projects and have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work. They've repaired stairs at the rear of my commercial property, installed and finished drywall between two businesses in the building, and completed excavation and repairs to multiple drainage ditches and storm drains at one of my housing developments.

Anthony and his crew have proven to be reliable, knowledgeable, and capable of handling a wide variety of work. Communication has always been excellent, and Anthony takes the time to make sure the job is done correctly rather than simply getting it done.

It's difficult to find a contractor you can trust with everything from detailed interior work to larger exterior and excavation projects, and Checs Custom Solutions has delivered for me every time. I would absolutely recommend Anthony and his company and will continue using them for future projects.

  • Anthony with Checs Custom Solutions completely transformed our home! He built a second-floor addition, installed the roof and siding, added a beautiful bay window and new flooring, and handled the electrical, track lighting, and plumbing. It was a big project, and seeing everything come together was incredible. He turned our house into a masterpiece, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommend!!
